簡介與辨識
爪哇姬兜（Xylotrupes gideon）屬於兜蟲亞科姬獨角仙屬，分類文獻記錄的分布包括印尼爪哇。 雄蟲頭角向前上方延伸且末端分叉，胸角粗壯向前彎曲伸出且末端亦分叉；全身黑褐色至深栗褐色，光澤溫潤；雌蟲無角。
分布與棲地
印尼爪哇。 棲息於低地至丘陵熱帶雨林、林緣次生林及棕櫚種植園周圍。
