綠島角葫蘆鍬形蟲

物種介紹

Nigidius wushuae 於 2022 年由臺灣東部綠島發表，屬 Nigidius distinctus species group。

外觀與辨識

前胸背板表面刻點較均勻，鞘翅明顯較長且狹長；眼脊後緣強烈向外突出，形成近尖的突起。

分布與棲地

分布：已知發表地點為臺灣臺東縣綠島。 棲地：目前記錄於綠島海拔 200 公尺以下。

生活史與活動

活動習性：已知綠島成蟲模式材料的採集月份包含8月與9月：2008年8月及2021年9月15日。 成蟲壽命：開始活動後，人工照護可先以約半年至一年規劃成蟲管理；取食、繁殖消耗與個體差異會影響實際壽命。

底材建議

可暫提供腐熟朽木、木屑與腐植質組成且保持微濕的介質，並保留木片縫隙。
