簡介與辨識
脛節細角鍬形蟲為分布於南美洲巴西大西洋沿岸雨林之特化細角鍬形蟲，脛節構造特殊。 雌蟲前胸背板外緣具形態差異，大型雌蟲前胸兩側中段具明顯側角，小型雌蟲外緣多呈圓弧狀。
分布與棲地
分布紀錄包括阿根廷、巴拉圭與巴西。巴西所列地區為南里奧格蘭德州與聖卡塔琳娜州。 南美森林中含有腐朽闊葉木的微棲地。
