簡介與辨識
印度短刀鍬形蟲體形細長、足細，雌雄皆具短大顎；體色黑，頭部無光澤。雌蟲頭部有一對發達的尖突，雄蟲前胸背板的側角明顯、後方收窄。 原始描述的唯一標本：體形狹長；上顎短於頭、略彎且近端有小內齒；兩眼間有兩枚顯著圓錐突起；後足脛無齒。
分布與棲地
印度錫金、不丹及中國西藏。 尼泊爾歷史名錄記錄於Thodung海拔3,100公尺，以及Chauri Kharka至Narntche約3,000公尺的山地。
