北臺斑紋鍬形蟲

物種介紹

北臺斑紋鍬形蟲為 2025 年描述的臺灣北部物種，現知限於雪山山脈。

外觀與辨識

與臺灣斑紋鍬形蟲相比，鞘翅鱗狀剛毛排列較規則且明顯，唇基端略尖；雄蟲陽莖端部後的收縮較明顯。

分布與棲地

分布：現知分布於臺灣北部的新北、桃園、新竹與宜蘭。 棲地：海拔 1,300–1,700 公尺的高濕潤 Machilus-Castanopsis 森林；主要見於殼斗科 Pasania 與薔薇科 Prunus 等植物的腐朽幹與樹樁。

生活史與活動

活動習性：原始描述的北臺灣野外成蟲模式與副模式標本，已知採集月份包含1月及3月。

幼蟲食性與飼育

幼蟲可暫以腐熟朽木與腐植質介質作為可能的人工食物環境，僅在確認進食後維持。

底材建議

可暫提供細碎腐熟朽木與腐植質組成、保持微濕且有縫隙的介質。

繁殖與飼育紀錄

該研究野外觀察曾於春季日間的腐木表面記錄交配；並記錄幼蟲與成蟲在腐朽原木內越冬。
